Beautiful quilts, all. Is the first one Anita's Arrowhead? I downloaded that pattern and am intrigued by it, but I haven't tried it yet. Was it easy to do?

QM 10-25-2013 01:54 PM

Awesome job!

jmoore 10-27-2013 03:50 AM

sounds like a great time and it looks like you got a lot accomplished. I used to go to scrapbooking retreats when I lived in Calif. (before I took up quilting) and was always energized by other people and it was a great way to get new ideas. I'm sure a quilting retreat would be similar. Thank you for sharing your post.

twinkie 10-27-2013 04:32 AM

You got a lot accomplished. Good job.

LindaR 10-27-2013 05:21 AM

the first one is Anita's arrow...it was in a quilt magazine last year...fun to do, starting with 2 8" blocks. I really should have divided the darker blocks more but it looked fine when I laid it out LOL

petpainter 10-27-2013 05:30 AM

Lucky you! My fave is the blue/ivory one at the bottom!

Vat 10-27-2013 05:31 AM

Lovely. Be sure to put a border on your Hunter star, I made one and didn't put a border and regret it very much. Just seems to finish it.

MargeD 10-27-2013 08:06 AM

Sounds like you had a great time and a very productive one as well.

fangman 10-27-2013 09:04 AM

Looks like y'all had a great time! Love ALL of these! 2 of them are already on my ToDo list - now maybe adding a 3rd lol. What's the name of the pattern on the left of the Hunter's Star please? Thanks!

I'd have to ask my DD, it is a paper/piece pattern, she took a class on it, lots of little pieces in the inter circles, stunning tho....
