I would say pale pink too!

Pink is warm and will advance toward your eye as warm colors do. Try it by laying a thin sliver of fabric next to the piece to audition the color, and see if you like it or if it is distracting. I think maybe I'd go with a dove grey.

hmm, having just finished my 4 patch posey, I say Black...somewhere, even if it is setting stones!!

That is so pretty. Pink would be wonderful.

I hate being the only one thinking a white on white patterned fabric would be the next one, but I do! It would bring out the center really nice.

Pink is one of my favorite colors but I don't think it works with this quilt for some reason............. I also think black would be stunning.

light pink would be my choice :)
