I think you have a winner. Love blue and white and especially love Dresden Plates! Great job, Terri. Make more!

My DH is Dutch and this reminds me of things you see in his parents' home. Great Job!

I love the way it turned out! I love the Dresden Plates. It was one of the first appliques I learned when I started to quilt 30 years ago. I have always liked the way they turn out and they are pretty easy to do!
You did a fantastic job on the choice of colors and the placement! Love the ones in the corners. Glad the template worked for you. I always worry that the template is off a little and will cause someone problems when the sections are sewn. It is so irritating if my sections ruffle and I have to go back and fix it! Yours looks like it came out just right! Way to go! The only differance for the Kaleidoscopes is you need to trace the features of the fabric onto the template and then mark the rest of the sections using the tracing to get them all the same. It isn't hard!! It goes together the same way! The fussy cutting may take a little more time but it is worth it! Can't wait to see the next one(s)!! |
it look real good and so does the corner she did good

Thanks everyone! Yes, Rhonda...it worked great!
Maybe I'll try the kaleidascope once I get all my stuff done that NEEDS doing! Ok, posted finished one! :) :) |
