I have always admired the traditional seven sisters quilts. There is just something abut them that pulls me in
The LQS got in the Marti Michell templates and I got brave enough to try it. The red one I did with her help in her shop. The blue one I just finished this morning - yay!!! I did it ha ha I was concerned if I could. Now I only have 18 or so more to go :D:D:D:D:D |
Very pretty. I'll have to look that quilt up.

That is a very pretty block.

Very pretty blocks. Nice workmanship. I have seen this pattern done up in Repo 30's fabrics and that was pretty too.

Beautiful blocks.

Very nice! Is it going to be patriotic red, white and blue?
|
What set of Marti Mitchell templates are you using for the blocks? They look great!

I have a Seven Sisters quilt...an antique and sort of worse for wear or as I like to think, well loved! I had no idea there were templates. Hmmm, maybe I will give it a try.
|
Very nice, I think you learned it perfectly.
|
Now you are going to make me find this quilt. Good luck.
|
Great job! I love Marti Michel templates. I may have to pull them out to see if I have those.

very pretty, what size are the block? are you going to do it in two colors?
|
when I started I was thinking scrappy, but now that I am into the sewing I think it will be just the red and blue stars with the stonehedge background fabric
|
I'm looking forward to seeing the completed top!
I have the templates but have never done anything with them, shame on me. |
Congratulations on learning a new pattern! Enjoy the process of finishing the blocks.
