Where did you find this Whirligig pattern? I've looked for it but am unable to find it under this name. Would appreciate your help!

I like things that make me smile, and your quilt did. It has beauty and whimsy.

Very bright and beautiful, Watson!!

Did you enjoy using a panto to quilt from the back? Do you sew through paper?
|
Love your colorful quilt! Great job on the quilting too! Funny how we each have things we don’t like to do. I love doing the binding and pieced borders but hate to do plain borders and basting.

Such a light and airy quilt. The bright colors are always a real treat. The quilting is also so nice. Thanks for sharing.

Copycat....I will link you to the video.
Basically, you trace the Panto onto the back of the backing (So, you have to be able to see through it. ), sandwich your quilt and then just follow the panto, quilting the back. Be sure you have whatever thread you want to show up on the front in your bobbin. I didn't mind it although all the tracing was boring. I traced with a blue washable pen. I love this! So bright and cheerful and the pattern is just great...... it just goes to show how a variation on a basic block can make a fantastic quilt.
