What a great idea! I bet I could find a waterbed frame at an auction for almost nothing!

You aare so very clever. The paint job and new handles transform this into a very lovely and useful piece of furniture.

I did the same thing using a baby change table. I was at Wal-Mart about a year ago and in the clearance there was a beautiful change table. A staff member saw me looking at it and he said I could have it for $45.00. I check with my hubby for the measurements of where I want to put. When I told the guy I would take it, he said I could have it for $35.00. It was $225.00. I am so glad I got as the table is the right height for me and it is so sturdy. I made a ironing pad to go on top using a piece of plywood, batting and cotton. It looks fantastic.
