excellent idea!!! wish I still had the drawers from mine
|
Man! I let hubby burn ours because I thought it was "too low" to do anything with. I never even thought about stacking them. Good job!
|
great idea and looks lovely. I am all for repurposing things. the more the better.

U did a great job, wow. I have been on a site called Hometalk and found a number of things to do with my old waterbed, cabinet made out of the old drawers for over the toilet and used shutter doors, etc. but this, this I might have to do.......my waterbed had the three drawers underneath on each side, not all the nice sotrage u had but will work I think just putting the six drawers together and mayb add three sections underneath for storage for the thick fabric like fleece, flannel and home decor, etc......thank u for sharing, so nice.....

Great job of repurposing your waterbed. I have a similar ironing surface. I repurposed the triple dresser that matched our waterbed. The waterbed has been gone a long time, but I couldn't part with all the storage space in that dresser. It has lots of drawer space and a 2 door cabinet in the middle. DH made a big board ironing top that fits on the top of the dresser. I now have a 24 x 66 ironing surface. I love it.

Don't suppose you'd want to trade spaces with me. Love it!

Looks great. My house is full of guns (most of them are not mine either) and my sewing is 3 -4 square feet and hard to work on anything so good for you.
