The pattern is "Quilter's World" by Lori Holt. Although, I have to admit I cheated. Her pattern is for needle-turn applique, and I did it "Cut and Paste" with machine appliques. The hand embroidery was murder for my carpal tunnel syndrome. I did all of the quilting free motion on my domestic machine. It's the first time I've done feathers and echo quilting. I am super excited about this one! There was a spot on the quilt for a LQS punch card. I decided to copy my favorite LQS' punch card and put it onto my quilt. I had gotten enough fabric for the back of the quilt, but I didn't take into account the directionality. To have the back fabric going the correct direction, I did some patchwork and put my label in an odd place on the back. Thanks for looking! |
This is a really great quilt. I can see all of the effort you put into it. I love how the sewing machine and the iron plug in, too.

That is an awesome quilt. I'd have a hard time deciding whether to hang it on the wall or use it to cover up with.

Hehehehehe and so worth it. You'll be back in with the regulars soon enough. I wished I would loose my regualr status over too much quilting.

That is a fantastic quilt, love the colours and the quilting. I would cheat too, machine applique is fast. Have to bookmark this one for later. Thanks for sharing
