This is a pattern from the Moda Bake Shop called Wild Rose Postage Stamp. Before I make Christmas gifts, I have each person choose the fabric they like. Last fall my sister-in-law chose Wild Rose. I wasn't able to get it in time to make her Christmas gift. When I saw this pattern I knew I'd be making it for her. When I gave her the quilt I had it in a basket. I told her I'd found the fabric she'd chosen at Christmas time and handed her the basket. The look on her face when she pulled out the quilt is one I'll always cherish.

I'm making a postage stamp quilt by hand , so far I have over 60 blocks, 5 x5 , pieces sewn together to make a 5inch block....I must be crazy. Now I don't know how to incorporate them altogether...should I just sew them all together, orut strips between them. Thanks fir your help. I'm still working on making more sqs.to add to it..they are addicting!
I'd lay some out with the sashing between the blocks and some without the sashing to get an idea how they will look. When I arranged the blocks for mine, I took pictures of the possible layouts and chose from the pictures.
I like when the back is more of a surprize then the front, nice job
