I pieced this quilt for a customer, and he picked out the really wild red batiks I just happened to have in my stash. I could never figure out what I would ever use them in, but I think they worked well in this quilt. Kevin quilted an all-over flames meander in black (kind of hard to see)...customer was happy, so I'm happy :)

Nice. I'm wanting to do a quilt soon for my son who is turning 21. I was thinking reds and blacks too. Man quilt. LOL

That would absolutley be great for my nephew. Can you tell me what pattern you used? What are the dimensions? Block size?

I made up the quilt pattern using EQ6...using a 9-inch whirlwind block. Quilt size is approximately 58 x 58 (including borders).
