Fay, what a perfect quilt for your son and his wife! It's really beautiful. I have been thinking about trying embroidery floss for a quilt I'm working on...for the color and emphasis. Was it more difficult? Hey, don't feel bad about 3 years...I started my daughter's wedding quilt before she got married and gave it to them for their 10th anniversary!

Very nice - I especially like your woodland touches and the pinetree blocks - and the critter tracks in the border. This is a very special, unique quilt, and I imagine your son and his bride love it.
