Both borders look nice, it mostly depends on your intent. The lighter gives the quilt an overall brighter look, the darker gives it a more subdued look. Personally, I'd go with the tan - darker version because I know how poorly while would last at my house :)

How about a "bed scarf" - does that help? It is a decorative scarf to add to the end of one's bed. I don't know why any quilter would want to cover up their work with such a thing, but a beautiful quilted one would look lovely on a regular bedspread!

Thanks Nini ... I get what you mean ... a mini quilt for decoration across the bed, with out the work of doing a full quilt.

Would let you show two off at the same time.

I usually have one on my bed ... and then use the footboard to show a second one off, as you would on a quilt rack. Then there's my trilevel quilt rack on the wall!! Yes, just a little quilty! :)
