I wanted to show you some of the Wings Blocks I have made using Rhonda's new technique. It's amazing that the curves show up in the design while only using straight lines. Thanks Rhonda for giving me the opportunity to make these!! :D

They are lovely Suzi, great work, and great designs, Rhonda. Is that a green version of Ninnie's Navy and White in the background of the last one?

Thank you Lacelady. I enjoy the design process. These quilt blocks of Suzi's are in the extended version of my EBook Bed Quilts Blocks and Borders. I included the block layout of each one in Suzi's section of the book. There are a few more pics of the things she made for me in the book. The wings block may look complicated but it isn't. I highly recommend doing it with my free templates tho. It just makes it easier.

Very pretty, that's another thing on my list for after Christmas. I started working on Christmas gifts again today, also need to start making clothes for my GD. She is finally starting to out grow all the clothes she recieved as gifts.

Thank you!. Those are my Dear Janes, lol, but they look a lot like Ninnie's quilt.

Iluv2quilt 11-07-2009 01:43 PM

I Thank all of you for your compliments! They were very fun to make, I really enjoyed the process. Hopefully you all will get to try some. There are more pics but I will leave them in the book  .

Quilt4u 11-07-2009 02:09 PM

Rhonda 11-07-2009 02:20 PM

Suzi did you get to go shopping for more fabric this afternoon? I know your were planning to. I haven't taken time to read in the PDA much so if you said there I haven't seen it yet. Trying to get my DJs done so staying busy!

Janstar 11-07-2009 04:24 PM

Sheila Elaine 11-07-2009 08:10 PM

Suszi, your work is great. Rhonda outdid herself on the designs. The recipients will enjoy those so much.

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter 11-07-2009 08:18 PM

Very cool. I need to check out that technique.

Mousie 11-07-2009 08:24 PM

wow, Suzi, these are so pretty! I love all three, but the third is my favorite too, bc I have that fabric. Wow, and I thought it had to go in the border of something. This is an awesome block! You are truly inspirational :D

Rhonda 11-07-2009 08:42 PM

I like the first one as to color contrast. This is my type of color arrangement. But I love your colors in the 3rd one. The flower fabrics just make it stand out.

One thing I really love about these designs is you can change the look just by playing with the color placement. It is so much fun!

MollieSue 11-07-2009 08:55 PM

Those are all sooooo pretty!!!!!! :D :D

amma 11-08-2009 12:13 AM

Thank you! Yes, everyone can use new potholders, but I don't know if I would use them or leave them out for show  ! Her new book shows larger blocks as well, not only minis.
