Winter projects
 

Although I enjoy traditional quilting projects, I also love to do wool appliqué things. Here is a wool table mat and wall hanging or table runner. Both designs are from Primitive Gatherings.

I enjoy working with wool felt. Funny, I bought a pattern to do a wall hanging this winter. Now to find all of the woolen fabrics. I think that is the hard part.

I really like the table mat! You did a beautiful job and because of your pictures I think I must go dig in my wools and try to make something similar. Thank you for sharing...we love the inspiration!!

Adorable! I've done a few Primitive Gathering kits - wool applique is fun. Last time I went to the Primitive Gatherings shop I realized my aunt used to live in a house right behind them.

That is stunning. Made my first wool pin cushion project. Needless to say it was very simple but I could become an addict. Thank you for showing these beautiful items and encouraging a beginner.

I would say, imho, those are done with a sewing machine because of the even look of the spacing and the length of each and every stitch. Beautiful work!
