Winter Solstice

Nice to finish this at the end of Winter, and even though we're all under self isolation we can enjoy the idleness and embrace two weeks of Spring Fever. (oooo bad pun?) 36x20 cotton

I'm glad I am not the only one who thought this was a picture, you are very talented. It is just fantastic, love the light shining through.

Beautiful work!
♥ very, very nice-love the simple design but your craftsmanship makes it stunning.
It is beautiful. The technique for making this piece has me wondering? did you use a technique that had you lay a piece of black netting over the design before quilting, or are the pieces, especially the leaves, larger pieces of fabric? I love wall hangings like this especially in fall colors.. Well done.
As with most of my nature work the confetti background is under netting and stitched in place before the foreground work. Thanks for asking
So pretty!
Oooh, I hope it's ok, I've just saved that one as a desktop image so I can gaze at it...it's so peaceful and lovely - and we don't get snowy woods around here! I especially love the color of the snow at the bottom around the base of the trees...I *remember* that reflected color on the snow towards evening when I was a kid! It's really something.
A great work of aet. Just beautiful.
Just awesome! Would love to have just some of your talent.
Amazing creation! Beautifully crafted.
So pretty, and very creative. I would love to try to do a free form quilt like that, but it would probably end up looking like a 3-year old's scribbling.
