Maybe if you could find the darker in just a little lighter color. The light one needs more variation, too white. Question, when you get it ironed onto the backing, do you zigzag around all those edges? I did a Halloween one once, used monofilament thread. I love them but my hands can't take all that cutting.

I will do staright stitching around the design in a matching thread

I love these patterns...but this one is a LOT of cutting! I can't wait to see what you mount it on, it is very different from doing it in the black.

Have you ever tried using a xacto knife on the really small areas?

No I sure haven't tried an exacto knife. I think for me it would be harder to have the control over the little areas with an exacto knife. For the little area's I seem to have good luck with the small, pointed, sharp embroidery scissors and just going really slow.
Will have to try itand see how it goes, thanx for the suggestion.
