LOVE THIS QUILT!! got a question, where did you find silk/rayon velvet used on the backing? i've never seen such an interesting velvet print.

If you search silk velvet you will find some places. But I got mine from http://www.fabricmartfabrics.com. It is located in Sinking Spring, Pa, about a half hour from where I live. I used to shop up there all the time, now I use the internet. They carry designer apparel fabric that is mostly closeouts from manufacturing. This was couture velvet, normally $40 per yard; I got it for $20 per yard. I ordered 4 yards and have some left, maybe for a shawl for someone. Their fabric changes often. You can sign up for e-mails from them, even a swatch club.
