Why insul bright? How about fusible fleece? That's what I use for totes.

I started this with the idea that it would be a reusable grocery bag tote. If I use insul-bright batting it will help keep the refrigerated items cooler on the trip home.

I did not think of it keeping things cooler! I have used it in pot holders.

I would use a fusable fleece or if you want it firm, use Decobond. I would not use insulbright in a tote bag. I like what you did with the food prints. I have a collection of those prints to make my son who works in a grocery store a throw quilt with them.
