I see! You are top-stitching around your silouhettes ... but, the windmill, also???
IMPRESSIVE!
The batik you chose for the little cowgirls' background is delightful (for lack of other adjectives) ... but, I do recognize the cold and winter feeling of it.
Can you imagine it on a sunset/sunrise background?
Your pictures of the process are wonderful, also. I can only imagine how many quilters, new to the process, will be encouraged and inspired by all you are sharing. Good job! <wave>

I have a couple of block I really neeed to get done before Thursday so will work on them and continue the binding for Horse Parade, then will be getting back to the windmill one and the little cowgirls. Yes I plan on sewing around the windmill also. In the little cowgirls I really liked the mountain snowy feel in the fabric, but I did get a sunset also and My hubby and boys think I should do two one with the wintrey feel and one with the sunset... So am planning on that eventually..

I have been using the 24" Steam A Seam 2 Lite

SWChick 02-08-2011 07:14 PM

Thank you. I have never used thatbut hear its good and won't let fabric fray. Does it stay without stitching like they say?

Mizgoodie 02-08-2011 07:55 PM
