btty...........thanks for that info. I must have breezed right through that magazine because I didn't see it. Once I read your post I went to look and sure enough, it was there!! I also plan on making one with the snail tails with cats for a friend for Christmas.

What a 'wicked' quilt! Love it and with the hat pulled down over the face like that it reminds me of promotional photos for the play 'Wicked'.
