I like it without sashing. makes such a pretty secondary block. makes it look fine & refined with all that beautiful stitchery. good job !

I like it without the boarder, brings the ebroidery pattern together.

Without

Definitely without the strips.
without. Looks cool.
I agree with quiltsRfun, the secondary pattern id very dersirable. :?
Definitely without the border/sashing. It takes away from your beautiful work, and the design.

I love this look...if you want a less drastic look than the yellow maybe you could put the same color stiching as the lines in the ditch between the 4 blocks thereby dividing the blocks but not making them look seperated....Great job

I think it depends on what you are using it for. As a table topper I would like it without. As a quilt, I like it with.
Definitely without. Very, very pretty!

without.

Without the sashing is my preference.
Without - the embroidery is delicate, and the sashing detracts from the delicacy.
without, the corner flowers were meant to match up. It has an old fashioned tone to it, maybe use 1940's prints to border outer edges.
Without the sashing. It really takes something away from the overall look.
Beautiful embroidery work! I can see you decided o go "without" the border, so I will anxiously await your finished design!
Working on the quilt....will post it whwn I am finished....Thanks my friends
if it isn't done yet, do it without the sash. I feel it takes away from the design
I thought that brown was the floor?
Definitely without the sashing. The work is so pretty, don't detract from it with the sashing.
I like without , love the way it looks
