You did a great job on your quilts, and they deserved the blue ribbons!!!!!!!!!! You called the "fair", Cattle Congress. Is that the Waterloo Dairy Congress with the cow made of butter?

Thanks! It is the National Cattle Congress, in Waterloo, Iowa. I'm not aware of a cow made of butter-I think that's always at the state fair, the cows here aren't neccesarily dairy cows. It's a normal fair with a rodeo and carnival and all that. We also have a county fair, but that apparently is poorly promoted and attended, but I need to enter in that so I can compete in the state fair. I've only been quilting for 3 years (these 2 were my 2nd and 5th quilts I've made), the competition will be pretty heavy at the state fair, but I'm going to give it a shot.
