Congrats on your ribbons. I know the feeling of that win you didnt suspect. I entered my first show last year and took third. This year hoping for second or higher. Not especting best in show for awhile once I up my game and get better at the more complicated patterns. BTW, beautiful quilts.

Congratulations!!!!!

I just got back from picking up my quilts, and the lady there said the pastel one was the runner up for best in show. She said, "Technically, yours was made better, but that was such a show stopper". I said, oh, I've seen a lot like this, but apparently they hadn't. I guess that makes me a sore loser, right? But, LOL, I got $13 in prizes. Photography was $40, drawing is $60, painting is $75. Why don't quilts get any love?
