Wonderful prizes for Row by row quilt
1 Attachment(s)
I decided to participate in the row by row experience this year and make a quilt quickly in hopes of returning it to a shop so I could win a prize. Here is the completed quilt. I received 25 fat quarters and because I used the shop's row in the quilt I also received a gift card to the store. Even better is that I have another quilt done that isn't going into the ufo pile!

Beautiful! You did a great job. I love your placement of all the blocks. Congratulations on being a winner!
Amazing you got that detailed quilt made so fast! Congrats on the win.
Good Luck !!
beautiful quilt and I am so glad to see someone from the board winning one of the row by row prizes!
Congratulations! Your quilt is fabulous. My friend won a couple years ago at our LQS. She was a fairly new quilter and was so happy about the 25 FQ's because she didn't have much of a stash.
Congratulations. Of course, I don't see the other entrants, but it looks like a winner to me, also.
Congratulations and job well done! You must have been working at warp speed to finish so quickly.
The one of the horse coming down the home stretch at Saratoga is a very clever play on the Home Sweet Home theme, was that for Gloversville Sewing Center the Saratoga location? (that almost looks like their shop in the picture). And I recognize the honeybee row, I quilted the shop sample. ;) http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t278354.html |
This is so cool. I don't know what is attracting me to these rows. But, I love it. Congratulations. I'm still working on my 2nd row.
Great quilt and prize!
congrats, cute quilt!!!
NICELY done! Done! Need I repeat " Done" ? :)
nicely done
That is a great selection of rows. I couldn't find 8 I liked within driving distance.
Congratulations Koko! Your Row by Row quilt turned out beautiful! Thanks for sharing and enjoy your prizes. So far I only have one row by row pattern for this year, hope to collect more in next few weeks.
Great quilt and what a fast finish, too! Good for you, glad you received such nice prizes. Thanks for sharing.

This is adorable.
No wonder you won, that is a gorgeous quilt. So detailed.
Great quilt.
Congratulations! I love your quilt.
Well done!!! I was on a bus trip to several of those shops, we had a great time.
My favorite rows are the bluebird nest, the horses running, and the bee hive. Over all your quilt looks fantastic and what a quick job you did on it also!
Congratulations on the win! You did a wonderful job in the layout and borders.
Congratulations on winning, your quilt is beautiful.
oh gosh that is a delightful quilt!
Very nicely done. And you got 25 fat quarters. A real plua.
Well done indeed! Congratulations on your win!
Boy, you are fast. I need to drive close to a hundred miles to gather enough for the quilt. Most of the ones I have seen in my area, I am not excited about. We aren't planning a rode trip in the near future so won't be able to collect from out of the area. Looks like I won't be participating in this one. Everyone participating have a fun journey.

Congratulations. BrendaK

Great quilt. You must have been very busy getting it finished. I have only collected one row so far. I haven't sewn any of it.
So glad you won! You did an awesome job. And you are right...a done quilt is so much better than a UFO! It's beautiful.
You did a fantastic job and congrats!
Good job! You really stuck to your plan and the quilt is fantastic!
yes your rows are lovely, but i'm going to throw a monkey wrench in this. as a group here in alberta we decided that the concept of the competition should be more than putting 8 rows together, most of us can do that. they should be put together in a quilt with sashing and borders. it just seems that people are putting them together with no thought or effort just to collect a prize. i would rather make it with some continuity and pride to show the effort it took to collect them rather than just putting 8 rows together and calling it a quilt. i don't mean to offend anyone its just food for thought and to put another point of view out there.
