The border was made first; I loved making these geese! (The houses and hearts are another story though). Then I started filling it in with wonky houses. Made lots of mistakes, redid things over but it was liberating and I learned alot! I love my clothesline most of all and the quilts are the smallest I've made so far! lol. The clothesline is a hard coated black plastic twist tie that worked well and was twisted just right and added dimension. I also love my lollipop tree! The scrappy pinwheels were fun to do! Just simply twist 2 scraps together, coil, and glue or tack in place. I guess I was thinking of Candyland when I made those. In the bottom right-hand corner, I placed my wonky heart. They were somewhat challenging without anything to go by but I loved the way it turned out, nice and wonky! Here are some links for your convenience if you want to try any of these wonky items.

The clothesline was already on when I appliqued the log cabin and not paying attn. so instead of it meeting the house halfway, it looks like it's hooked up to the chimney!! haha! Oh, well, it's supposed to be wonky, huh?? This quilt gave me lots of laughs!! I hope it cheers others and just go with what you love most and your quilt will be a hit too! Can't wait to see it!
