I posted a question back in Oct abt how to deal with pre-printed fabric that is NOT square when the pattern is cut out AND had anybody ever seen wonkey attic windows. WEll! I sure got a lot of good advice and after many sleepless nights - MONSTERS is finished. Thanks to everybody for their great suggestions. Sure hope the pics show up. "Monsters" is for my 6 y/o dgs. The other quilt I call "Happy Planes" - it is for my DGS who will be 2 yrs old Dec 26th. Happy Quilting!

I used Steam a seam 2 then did a blanket stitch around ALL the applique! Was fun. I used 100% cotton batting so when finished quilt is washed it shrinks up (hides a multitude of OPPS'S!) I am an old quilter but new to meandering free motion.

I love these little guys. I did a Monsters in the Closet quilt for dgd, but it must have been a coordinating fabric to this. I wish I would have seen these. I remember your thread asking about doing this quilt, and I answered something, but it wouldn't have made any sense since my little monsters were only 1-2" not a larger one like these guys. I love it. And the airplanes are really cute. Isn't it fun making these. They grow up to fast and then we have to do something a little older.
