Wonky Tree quilt (My last one this year)
3 Attachment(s)
Well I fell in love with this pattern and have made 3 in the last two weeks. This last one is more fun. I made it for my DDIL who is an interior designer. Just got it mailed yesterday and she should receive it by Christmas. I used the binding method I found here on the board for the flange. And it was so simple.

Very cute and with a modern twist. She will love it!

Absolutely beautiful, colorful and very wonky!
Really great. |
Terrific quilt! The trees are great, love your fabrics, and neat binding idea! :)
|
I <3 your wonky trees.
|
Your choice of colors is great. I like this.

Great Christmas quilt!

That is so cute
Have a Blessed day Ellen |
I love it!

Love the Black and White fabric with this one. I have one in process, might have it done by next Christmas. :o When I started to collect fabric, I went with what the pattern calls for and it took me a few years to collect just the right ones. Once I started it, I thought that it would be wonderful to use different kids of fabric. Yours just proves that it can be done and turn out wonderful. Thanks for the ideas that are not swirling in my head.

Very cute!

I'm not usually a fan of holiday themed quilts*, but, this one is so fun!! Really well done, and I hope DDIL loves it!
*no offense to anyone who does like them!! just personal preference!! |
That is so cute. I love the modern look. Some of my kid's would love that.
|
Very cute!! Is it paper pieced?

I love your quilt. The colors are great. Where can I find the pattern. Maybe if I start now I could finish one by next Xmas.
|
Everything about it is great! You did a fantabulous job!!!
|
Very cool! I'm sure an interior designer will love the graphic look of your wonderful tree quilt. (I love Charismah's Quick Machine binding with flange totorial too!)
|
I love it! Those fabrics give it such a modern, fun feeling.
|
I originally thought this was a paper pieced pattern and was dissapointed when I opened it because that many pieces seemed daunting to me however I stuck with it and it is quite easy once you get the hang of it. The name of the quilt pattern is Tree's Up! Lights On!
|
Love:thumbup: your quilt and the colors, hope to make one some day

I really, really like your fabric selections, I can't imagine how you made a decision on which piece to use where, but this one looks great! Wonderful job!

Those are quirky, funny trees.

So, where do I find the pattern/ instructions?

Your quilt is beautiful! Love the wonky trees and fabrics.:)
I bought that pattern but haven't had time to make it yet. I decided that right after Christmas I'm making some Christmas quilts for myself so I have some for next year. I still only have one quilt for myself which is my avatar quilt. Year 2012 is the year I'm going to start making some things to keep. |
Very cute quilt.

Love it. Merry Christmas
