Each quilt is so well suited to the retiree. You must have had a lot of fun matching fabric and pattern to each person.

WOW you are a generous employee with marvelous talent too. Tell me you went shopping for all those fabrics since you didn't have them in your stash LOL They will be thrilled.!

I generally personalize the quilts I make for people in some format or another so, no I did not have these in my stash just lying in wait. They were all bought with the recipient in mind. Although I do have fabric in my stash that is and has been for YEARS predestined to be used today. some of that fabric, while on display under my long arm where I can see and access it, is the last place I look when I have a new person/project in mind. I really need to stop doing that and use what I have on hand . . . probably wont happen but needs to. lol

Yes, I do have fun with that process.

Is the first quilt made like they call the blooming 9 P ? I read the fireman's quilt post and you said the fireman was the Bloomin 9 Patch. I hadn't heard of it but not surprising, so had to google. All your quilts are nice and unique for each worker. I applaud you for your hard work and generosity.

Yes, the first one is a blooming 9 patch, so is the firemean quilt. Still amazes me how different colors can change the look of the same pattern. and thank you.
