I am taking the challenge from The Quilt Show for an original baby quilt and this is the quilt top so far. I have one last border to add and I'm thinking of the dark pink blender. What do you vote?

snownannie 02-07-2012 09:36 PM

beautiful top!!!!!

mighty 02-07-2012 09:54 PM

Beautiful quilt, I think either the dark pink blender or the darker green.

miss_ticky2 02-07-2012 10:21 PM

Oh wow...that is awesome. I would probably lean towards a darker border myself

wanda lou 02-08-2012 12:33 AM

very pretty.

PurpleBecca 02-08-2012 01:11 AM

I love your quilt!! Is go with the dark green myself.

quilterella 02-08-2012 02:05 AM

Your quilt top is fabulous...I also would go with the darker green for the border and then bind it with the darker pink blender.

dilyn 02-08-2012 02:10 AM

very pretty and creative! looking forward to seeing it all finished!

QM 02-08-2012 02:12 AM

I would go with the dark green, but the dark pink would also work well. This will be an exceptionally fine quilt.

Mary O 02-08-2012 02:34 AM

Your quilt is beautiful but not so much a baby quilt design.

QuiltnNan 02-08-2012 02:36 AM

i like the darker green for the last border. very nice quilt

SueDor 02-08-2012 03:00 AM

lizpatterson1 02-08-2012 05:51 AM

Beautiful - whatever you chose will look great since you have done a great job so far.

Mariposa 02-08-2012 05:54 AM

Pretty top! Very original! I'd go with a dark green border, then bind in the dark (looks burgundy?)

ChildoftheUniverse 02-08-2012 08:29 AM

Oh so very pretty... love the colors.

pacquilter 02-08-2012 08:51 AM

I think something dark would be best for the border, to frame it all in. I love this quilt because it's so unique and whoever the lucky recipient is will be able to use it for many years past babyhood.

justme 02-08-2012 09:06 AM

Very pretty!

fivepaws 02-08-2012 12:06 PM

That is gorgeous and most sophisticated.

BLAP 02-08-2012 12:36 PM

That is an absolutely beautiful quilt.

jillnjo 02-08-2012 12:42 PM

Lovely- I choose the darkest pink or the blender.

barny 02-08-2012 12:42 PM

I'd go with the darkest pink. It picks up the dark pink in the quilt. I love it.

sandybuttons 02-08-2012 01:38 PM

sew beautiful :)

Sewfine 02-08-2012 01:41 PM

Beautiful quilt, I think the dark pink blend.

alfosa421 02-08-2012 01:45 PM

I respectfully disagree. While not a traditional pastel teddy bear style baby quilt, I think it is a wonderful design for a baby. Very unique and absolutely beautiful! (I agree the darkest pink for the border) Please post pics once it is finished and quilted. I am sure it will be just stunning!

char634w 02-08-2012 03:10 PM

Beautiful and very original, love it. Thank you for sharing. Oh yeah, pink or green would look great to finish it.

Clueless Quilter 02-08-2012 06:41 PM

Beautiful Quilt. I would use the same fabric as the star Points.

fxsts93kf 02-08-2012 08:14 PM

Amazing! I would use the dark pink blender. Can't wait to see the final picture.

bailey 02-08-2012 08:19 PM

No suggestions for the border but gosh what a beautiful quilt. Love it.

quiltjoey 02-08-2012 08:26 PM

Lovely! I would like the dark green for the border like a dark picture frame makes a photo pop! I think the dark color would make your quilt "POP"!

bjchad 02-08-2012 08:32 PM

Im going to disagree with the majority. I think the lighter green would be best for the border, bound in either the dark pink or dark green. But whatever you do it will be an absolutely gorgeous quilt!

I agree, use one of the darker colors to frame it. Gorgeous creation!

crafterrn1 02-10-2012 11:23 AM

I vote for the Light Green. It would tie the green into the quilt! Love it Good Luck! Luann

Crqltr 02-10-2012 11:27 AM

Very pretty, I like the darker green also..I think it would frame it nicely instead of blending as more pink.

annthreecats 02-10-2012 11:58 AM

Oh my! What a gorgeous quilt. You do beautiful work. Thank you for sharing that. It's spectacular.
