Hattie Frances 06-29-2012 01:03 PM

Your "Quilting Assistant" is on the job, He is testing the comfort level of this project.

char634w 06-29-2012 01:10 PM

That is going to be a cute quilt and what a great picture of your baby.

Granny Quilter 06-29-2012 01:17 PM

Looks like my Romeo!

CraftyCricket 06-29-2012 01:20 PM

My cats always keep me company when I'm sewing. I'm not sure I would call it good company though. LOL

cleodaisy 06-29-2012 01:29 PM

That looks just like my two tabby babies.

So sweet!!!!!

Brought back memories - we just lost one of our yorkies, Bailey, a couple of months ago. She LOVED laying on my quilts, so when she died we buried her wrapped up in her little quilt.

Our new pup (a Coton de Tulear) LOVES her little quilt I just made for her -- in fact, if I don't cover her up at night, she reaches for it with her teeth and tries to pull it over herself. Never had a pup do that before!

Quilts and fur babies of all kinds just go together!

fixfido 06-29-2012 02:44 PM

Ha! This is just like my previous post called, "Quiltus Interruptus". Did you happen to see it?

Sandra in Minnesota 06-29-2012 03:07 PM

Is he trying to tell you that it is nap time??

Neesie 06-29-2012 03:10 PM

Awwww! :D

lollygagging 06-29-2012 08:22 PM

That is just too funny! Sitting here all by myself and it made me chuckle! Thanks.

beatys9 06-29-2012 10:34 PM

Giving it a test run before the baby... looks like it passes.

catladyquilts 06-30-2012 03:19 AM

I see your fur babie likes your WIP's as much as mine. At least yours lets you sew the strips together before getting comfortable. Too cute

Mary O 06-30-2012 03:22 AM

How cute ,hope you wash the quilt when done.

sewmorethings 06-30-2012 03:33 AM

Your quilt police seems to like this one.......it is looking pretty

ArtsyOne 06-30-2012 03:44 AM

I'm a dog person but this photo makes me smile and envy the happiness of the cat.

lenette 06-30-2012 06:12 AM

Don't have a clue about cats and quilts! LOL Our cats live out in the barn and won't come near the house. And our little dog loves them, wants them to play, his nose has taken quite a few swipes!

But he loves my quilts, if it is on the floor for whatever reason he is on top of it and has quite a "tude" when I politely ask him to move. One day I drug the quilt from the living room floor all the way to the sewing room. He did roll over and stretch but he didn't move!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH says the dog thinks he is a paperweight. LOL

AuntieD 06-30-2012 02:14 PM

He looks soo comfortable!

WMUTeach 07-01-2012 03:11 AM

A kitty at peace. I am waiting for one eye to open to see if you are watching. Then just the slightest of little grin. Life is good when your a cat or a quilter.

ranbro 07-01-2012 03:44 AM

She looks perfectly comfortable to me.

sewnsewer2 07-01-2012 03:55 AM

Blinkokr 07-01-2012 03:57 AM

Have a Blessed day
Ellen

kuntryquilter 07-01-2012 04:03 AM

They think they own every thing & every one in the house. I know mine does, but I love her anyway.

solstice3 07-01-2012 05:57 AM

quality control at its best!!

damaquilts 07-01-2012 06:33 AM

What is it about animals and quilts/fabric ? My DD's cats use to do this to me and my dog use to do the same thing whenever I was working on one either by hand or let it hang off the table.

jeaninmaine 07-01-2012 08:10 AM

I'm always amazed at how fast they can get into a spot and be asleep in seconds, looking like they've been there forever. I'll get up to pour a cup of tea and there's always someone looking like they're dead asleep in my chair by the time I get back.
