I vote for the black polka dot fabric too.

On each corner, there is one of the corner 4-patch fabrics that do not touch the edge; if you use one of those that touch the edge, your border will blend into that patch; that includes the polka dot, the pink, gold, etc., etc., but you have nice dark plum/burgundy fabric in the strippy border that I don't see anywhere in the corner 4-patches. Do you have enough of that for your final border? Sometimes I'm "into" doing the binding in the same fabric as the final border, rather than adding 2 more colors (one for border, one for binding).

I would do what you did on the center section, the small pieced border then a polka dot on the outside. I know you said only one more, but it would make it match up.

I like the dark polka dot it would really pop you quilt and bring out are the embroidery out.

I think it's beautiful and I think you'll love it when it's quilted. Love the border you've got on now.
