I love them both! If I were making the 2nd one for a 4th of July or QOV type quilt I'd probably use navy thread and meander and sew in words like "Freedom", "Liberty", "Sacrifice", etc...

Very nice quilts, but I'm with some of the other ladies I like the granny squares with the brown, it is so "homey" Glad it has gone to a good home.

Wonderful finishes. The granny square looks so comfy and the Lemoyne star looks just right in the BOM
