oooooooooooooooo pretty. You did an awesome job. Why does the yellow brick road look so hard to do, yet i hear its easy????????

Bev, it really is easy to do!! I have used that pattern to teach a couple of people how to piece quilts!! Easy and Fast and doesn't require fancy quilting stitches either, you can just quilt along the diagonal cause it is a 9in finished block!!!

Thank you all. YBR was the pattern we used in the Beginning Quilting class I took last year at LQS. I used a bunch of varied but coordinated fat quarters and it is a perfect quilt for Spring/Summer. They still use the pattern in that class because it is easy to cut and piece. Try it,Bev. You will love it!

i guess it scares me cuz i normally just make up my own quilts and shy away from actual patterns.. BUT I did try the shoofly and i think i did fairly well ..... I'll try it as I now have that pattern.....
