Thank you Wendy. Again, it's just beautiful. I'm not good at explaining my questions. What I really wanted to know is how do you get your stitches to look so good? They're all so even and look hand-stitched with little spaces in between. My FMQ never has those little spaces between the stitches even when I use contrasting thread like you do.

Hi GrandmaSewNSew~ I do the FMQing on the fabric before I assemble the bag. I cut the pieces out a bit larger than the pattern, layer them with batting or fusible fleece, mark the finished size on the fabric, and do the free motion quilting at that point. Once that's done, I cut it down the actually pattern size and then assemble the bag and line. Essentially, I'm handling my FMQ'd pieces as the outside fabric of the bag.
