Cheryl-This is SOOOOOO pretty. Was it a kit or did you pick the fabrics yourself?-I ask because I really like them, but would never have picked them out myself (no imagination)

Mrs. Mel 02-20-2009 03:19 PM

Wowzers. I love it. :!:

I bought the pattern first- then I saw it in one of the quilt shops online as a kit- reasonably priced so I bought it. Only kit I have ever made. But I did discard some of the chosen fabrics and put in alot of my own from the stash. Kind of really made it mine. I'm glad you like it.

Thank you for answering Cheryl. I really like the fabrics--crisp, clean, cheery. Makes me smile... :-)

So, do you have an extra pattern you would like to sell????

It wasn't in a book- I have 2 of her books, but there are alot of patterns that aren't in her books- this is one- called "duck, duck, goose, goose."
Cheryl

rismstress 02-20-2009 07:41 PM

Actually, yes I have an extra pattern. One came with the kit and I had already bought one. PM me if you want to buy it

I got the pattern and kit from shabbyfabrics.com a few years ago. I just looked at the website and neither the pattern nor the kit is listed anymore. I do know the fabric is moda- not sure of the design names.
If anyone is interested a more thorough internet search may turn this up.This website does have a lot of Miss Rosie patterns for sale. I do love her designs. They are great for using the stash or making them with just a few fabrics.

Rismstress, is the pattern called 'Toulousse'? I think it is one of her older patterns. I just finished her 'Tag Sale' before Christmas that I got as a kit. You are right, she has great designs.

bj 02-21-2009 07:58 AM

That's beautiful.

mkanderson 02-21-2009 08:08 AM

She has two books out- I have both of them. This pattern is not in the books, but the patterns in the books are great and I highly recommend them to everyone.
