I have over 200 yo-yos made and didn't know what to do with them. I can pick out the Christmassy ones and make a wreath! Wow. that is pretty. What do you use for the base? Are they sewed on or glued?

...YES, I bought "one of each style" at Houston quilt show a couple of years ago, DD bought one size, I bought another. Have only used them once or twice as I find it easier and faster to just make my own without the "maker"... one of those "what was I thinking" items in my humongoid stash, LOL !! (and there are others too)

Great idea! I have yo-yo's my mother made and I know I'll never add enough to make a quilt, but I could probably do this. Thanks for sharing!

I'm with you, Carol! I have the dangest time with that yoyo maker, so I do it the way you do!

I love my Yo-Yo maker! It is a craft that I can take when we go on vacation and I am stuck in a car for hours at a time. I too, learned the old fashioned way but, I prefer the ease of the "machine" I am thinking of ordering some more.

Could you please post the directions on how to attach it to whatever it's attached. I'd appreciate it. I love it.
