I like the pink dots on black. I like the dramatic look of the quilt and the simple lines of it which doesn't make that pretty floral work for this project.

The floral is pretty! Would adding a 2-4" wide black inner border with the floral as a second outside border work? It would separate the pinks in the two fabrics.

If this was my quilt, I would put black ribbon for the binding and sew some bows in the lighter colored squares.

I think I would try the black & pink pokkadot as the border. Keep the geometric modern look going. The floral border sabotages the look

I do like it...and I like quilts backed with flannel...so warm and cozy!!!!

I love the floral, but not for a border, nice maybe for the backing.
