Zipper Bags
1 Attachment(s)
I'm so proud of myself. I actually started making some Christmas gifts. I made these little zipper bags to give to some of my friends. I used this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsbsB8EGkR8 I'm going to make another bag and maybe a tissue cover to go with them.
My upstairs A/C is out and it's about 89 up here now so I'm going downstairs for a shower and a nap. A/C will be fixed tomorrow afternoon and the downstairs A/C is working so I'm good. :o Thanks for looking. |
Ohh those are Way cute! Lots of work girl ! I love em !

Great bags!

I love your bags!!!!!!!! I want to make some. I got one of those long long zippers that you can cut to fit, makes about 12 I think, something like that. Thanks for the inspiration to get going on them :)

Her tutorial is really pretty easy. I did use a fusible fleece on the outside fabrics and quilted them with some straight lines. The one thing I would have done differently is to serger the bottom seam and side seams so they'd be more finished.

Very nice!!!

89 is warm. I stayed with my girlfriend in her town house for six weeks while house hunting. it was 87 to 89 in my bedroom . me and three cats! Stay cool!

Nice! Those were the first things I learned to make when I started sewing.

I love those zipper bags. I just made 4, and have been experimenting and changing things up also. Bought some pre-quilted fabric, and that worked fine. Yours are bright and colorful!

Here are a few of the zipper bags I've been making. Takes only about 15 min. to make each after cutting out. I just looked at the tute I printed and it doesn't say where I downloaded from. I know it was free and will try to find it and post for you. I thought these were cute and I had these lacey zippers already. I guess you could use regular ones too. Maybe one of these with your cute zipper bag and tissue holder . They have vinyl on the front so you see the fabric that is inside. You could just use fabric for the front too. I got my vinyl at Wal-Mart.
