Thanks for sharing, is there something in someone's woodpile to cause all these feathered creatures to lay eggs and in time for Easter?

Priscilla is actually a peahen. She is adorable - but a cock she is not! Unfortunately it's the guys that get to wear the fancy feathers.

Oh, I think you might want to try
    Gilda the Goose
Doris the Duck and their friend
    Tizzy the Turkey

    How's that for a challenge???

I know that she is a peahen and the males don't lay eggs. We also used to have peacocks and the male had the most gorgous huge tail. But, I couldn't applique the peahen because it wouldn't be that colorful and would look just like another chicken. So...it is a suppose hen peacock, I guess. I told my dh that someone would make a comment about it being a male.

Love Priscilla. Your son might just come and kidnap her.

Luck to him raising them, I remember them well. Big bags of Purina Turkey Chow scattered about while they fought over a bug, screaming like a woman being tortured in the middle of the night while they ran like mad on top of the roof, eating my garden but only the more difficult things to grow.

But when they strut their stuff, I'll admit they are simply the most lovely creatures alive!!!
