Quote: My white cat liked to stretch out on his side on fabrics - as long as he could - and then he would press his "hair release button"
I have a torti that does that. In fact I have a quilt that I delayed binding for hours today because she was sleeping on it.

The dog was locked in kitchen jail. Every time I try to work on the floor she thins it’s time to play fetch and stands on my fabric. If I ignore her she drops her ball on my hand.

I don't let my 2 little dogs or my black cat in my sewing room. I have had many cats and dogs over the years. I have already experienced most possible problems.

The problem with that at my house is my quilting room tends to turn into a quilting house. Since I set up the longarm it’s easier to trim in my living room and my embroidery machine is currently on the kitchen table.
