I have completed (except for binding) a double sided table runner and place mats today. The table runner I finished in class, the place mats I came home and made on my own. The place mats were not a part of the class.

Anyway ... I have NO CLUE how I will bind it ... any suggestions are most appreciative.

What a cool pattern! I just love the fabrics you chose and that they are reversible! You did a great job.

Those are really cute. No help for binding
though, not my specialty.

Red, green, cream, tan, any would be great. Love your fabric choices on both sides. Good Job.

I think I would bind with the darkest green that you have in the square around the bear in the center of the Christmas runner. Or figure out how to make your binding one color on one side and another color on the other! That might be possible by sewing together two strips of different colors, each twice the width of your finished binding. Press in half, open out and press each color to the center (where the seam is.) Then apply each color to it's appropriate side and stitch down. I must have read this someplace because I'm not smart enough to have figured it out all on my own! LOL!!! Haven't done it, either.....

Please show us what you decide. I really like the idea of 2 sided things. Great fabric choices!

these are Adorable! Maybe bind using the same red fabric from the center of the runner? Really cute, though. Love the placemats too.

I'd bind with red.

Nice projects. I'd bind all in dark green.
