The first half of the body is done and I'm working on the second half. I only have 19 triangle blocks, 10 center blocks, and 10 all dark 4-patch blocks left to do!!

And then all the 4-patch blocks around the outside. *sigh*

I'm glad I didn't actually sew the two rows together yet, the strip between them is sewn to one side, because I found out that I needed to cut out 9 more dark pieces for the triangle blocks and I had to use a fabric that I hadn't used anywhere else. Since I don't want that fabric only in half of the quilt, I can put one of the second-half row of blocks next to the first one to spread it out.

I have some of the 2 1/2" strips sewn together for the 4-patch blocks and need to trim the HSTs for the center blocks. Almost there!

This was last night before the flying geese were done, all the pieces ready to go.

Very pretty! Love the colors. It's going to be striking when you're done :)

What pattern are you using? I think I see one of these in my future.

The pattern is Faceted Jewels. I didn't use a pattern though, just figured it up in EQ7.
