    Thank you everyone for your kind words. :) Let me answer your inquiries about this...

    quiltnana: The pattern is from quiltville.com. :)

    Loretta: I haven't thought ahead to how I want to quilt it, just trying to get the top completed and then let it tell me what design... :)

    nanmal: It's not hard at all...the center was all done using the strip method. The braid is just as easy, it's like doing half a log cabin block. :)

    moreland: Isn't it fabulous how we all have differing opinions...that's what makes us all unique. :)

    Love your quilt - the colors are "mine"!!!! Would love to know where you got the pattern--the braided border is new to me too and would love to know more about that! Looks like you've done an excellant job!

    love your quilt, I should have looked at this before I started mine will add a picture when I finish mine, not like yours at all, I just added all the 2 1/2 in a line no pattern to pile of scraps. different look all together

    Love your Bargello - why are some called 'scrappy'? Looks very much like Florentine embroidery with your chosen fabrics, even has a crochet-see-through sort of look about it :thumbup:
