These are two paper pieced quilts I just finished and turned in for Project Linus. These were my first efforts at paper piecing, and while it almost drove me nuts at first, by the ice cream cones, I was having fun with it.

Those are so cute....there's going to be two very happy kids. My favorite is the kite one...so cheerful and the kites look great against that cloud fabric. Great job.

The kite quilt is a Project Linus kit, and I got the paper piecing pattern of the ice cream cones from another Project Linus member.
The kite kit was complete, including batting . The ice cream cones, I had fun finding fabrics that looked like ice cream with sprinkles, or sparkling sherbets, and just put my own twist to it.
