My friend sends the fabrics and patterns, I cut/piece/assemble
the top which she will then have quilted by others. Keeps me
busy when not dreaming up my own projects.
This is a homespun top of Bear Paw blocks. 82 x 82"
    consisting of 12 rows of 12 - 6 1/2" blocks each.

I usually am not drawn to bear paw quilts but this is so cheery and whimsical-I love it!

What a wonderful take off on the traditional bear paw. I have been saving plaids and homespun shirt pieces. What a great project.....

That is so unique! I love the way the plaids create such a softness (in my opinion). You created a wonderful quilt. Thank you for sharing.

I've seen lots of BP's in plaids before and they are always charming as the plaids add such warmth! Yours is cute!! Your friend is lucky to have your output! :-D :-D :-D

I'm not a big fan of plaids, but you did an outstanding job on this quilt. Maybe you're helping me to love plaids after all.
