I am very fortunate not to suffer any motion sickness in the car. I am also hoping to visit some wonderful quilt shops along the way.

that's very pretty--please be sure to post it when you finish. I'm one of those people that get's car sick when I do much other than look out the front window--so not much sewing while traveling for me! My DH can read forever in the car--so I usually drive while he reads.

I end up knitting while in the car, but only if I'm not driving, LOL I love your colors, and design.

That is going to be gorgeous! Are you going to seriously pin everything in place, generally pin it or wing it?

Also, maybe you could machine sew down the first side of the stems before you go. What a great project!!!

That's me too. We were in California headed north when we should've been going south!! I was the "navigator"..thankfully now there's the GPS!
