Wonderful in every aspect of a lovely quilt. I know your sister will love it-maybe not even mind having that milestone birthday. I'm happy for both of you. My oldest son will be 50 in January. I plan to make him a quilt of wildlife that he loves so much.

Wow, that is fabulous work! I'm so very impressed with the quilting you did too. I just finished and washed a quilt on which I used the washable markers. They came out beautifully.

Great job on every level. I'm sure your sister was absolutely thrilled and awed.

Zozee- that is fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your sister sounds like she has the life- so happy for her! I'd give anything for a horse. But it's not even on my bucket list
I hope you don't lose your faith and if you end up in a psych ward let us know and we'll come and visit you And if you do lose your faith I have an Aunt who's a nun so she'll help you restore it. She's always working on us
You did a wonderful job!!! Thanks for sharing the whole story.
Susie
PS. Not only is Log Cabin one of my top 3 favorites but so appropriate for your sis.

Oh- one more thing- what did you quilt it on?

Beautiful quilt and love your fabric choices. Your sister is a lucky person to receive this. She sounds like she lives in a wonderful place. You did a great job. Thank you so much for sharing.
