Lovely mix of colours!! Quick question and this may be absurd, do you recall using any scraps from Kaffe Fassett? Some of those colours look like his pallet. I'm starting to work with his fabrics and notice you can't just throw it around. There's a reason he's an artist and (for me) I need to study the effect of his fabric against others. Thanks ahead of time for your response. I'm always curious about things....

I could not find the link, but your beautiful quilt is very much like one called "Crazy Love" by Marsha Moore. I hope I am correct on the designer's name. Anyway, after I saw that one (and now this one), I just have to make one for myself.

I conclude that you are as crafty a photographer as you are a quilter. Notice the shadow of whatever building perfectly coincides with the top of the quilt in the second photo. The fall landscape in the background is georgeous! I miss that so much. Here we only get the hot sunshine until monsoons and then it's rain, rain and more rain.
