I call it that because the quilting drove me crazy. My thread kept breaking, shredding and skipping stitches. I have a friend on the Eastern Part of SD that makes quilts for her church charity and I made this one from scraps for her to give. I actually hated this quilt before I was done although I like the colors and design.

I am sorry you had such an unhappy experience. I have found that when I start having such problems, I usually need to change the needle or clean the machine really good. If all else fails, I just walk off for a while and do something else.

Your quilt is very pretty and I know it will be much appreciated.

Well, you did a good job on this quilt, in spite of the aggravations. Nothing makes a stitcher more "psycho" than a sewing machine acting up.
Had to laugh at your subject line. At first I thought " Gee.....I know about quilts for kids, and military, and shelters, but I didn't know that there was a charity for psychos, too?"
Hmmmm, maybe somebody will make ME a quilt????? :)

My machine is funny. When it starts acting up I look for a mistake in my piecing. It's like it is telling me to stop and look before I continue and go to far to be able to fix my work. LOL
