I can't stand it any longer, so here is a picture of the top with the borders. It is basted in this pic, so that's what the big stitches are! AND the reason the stitches are so far apart on the pumpkins is that it is just holding some extra batting for more fluff in the pumpkin area. The rest of the quilt is basted closer together and better, BUT I do still have to re-baste because of those puckers. I just wanted to share!

Here is a pic where you can see the backing fabric. The backing is just something that popped out at me at WM. I thought it would be fun to have something very different on the back, and it fit the theme. ;)

Too late now, but I wish I would've used a darker yellow fabric on the bottom pumpkin. The orange is very bright and the yellow blends a little too much with it. I may use some darker colored thread to quilt around the eyes, nose, and mouth on this pumpkin.

Above each person's new post, there is a light blue line...right above your screen name...follow it all the way across to the top right corner at each person's new post there is a "quote" button. Just click it. Did that make sense?[/quote]

Just imagine the softer yellow pumpkin has frost on it. Maybe when you quilt it, you could use a thread with a sparkle!
Just leaving it is way too cute also. Looks great.
